dc.descriptionThis work tries to reflect the importance of the use of the Internet in commercial management. The great technological advances and communication facilities mean that companies carry out various operations every day to exchange information of different kinds. Companies and customers, through time, have been using different means to carry out commercial activity. The incursion of the internet has profoundly marked what companies do and they communicate with each other regardless of the distance that may exist or the place where they are located. The current case study seeks to identify how electronic commerce affects the productive performance that exists in the san farmedi company located in the city of Babahoyo, province of Los Ríos, which is dedicated to the sale of all types of medical, pharmaceutical and, through theoretical bases, I am able to understand the impact that electronic commerce is having on this type of business. Methodological guidelines of a descriptive type with a qualitative approach were established, taking as a population the economically active people of the Babahoyo canton, using relevant techniques and instruments to arrive at the results that derive from inferring about the situation of San Farmedi and thus reach the conclusion that if there is a high level of incidence since san farmi is not having the necessary knowledge for the application of this electronic commerce tool, which indicates poor management in this company.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste trabajo intenta reflejar la importancia del uso del Internet en la gestión comercial. Los grandes avances tecnológicos y las facilidades de comunicación hacen que las empresas cada día realicen varias operaciones para intercambiar información de diferente índole. Las empresas como los clientes, a través de los tiempos, han ido utilizando diferentes medios para llevar adelante la actividad comercial. La incursión de internet ha marcado profundamente el que hacer de las empresas y éstas se comunican entre sí no importando la distancia que pueda existir o el lugar donde se encuentren. EL actual estudio de caso busca identificar como el comercio electrónico incide en el desempeño productivo que existe en la empresa Sanfarmedi ubicada en la ciudad de Babahoyo, provincia de los Ríos, la cual se dedica a la venta de todo tipo de productos médicos, farmacéuticos, mediante bases teóricas logro comprender el impacto que está teniendo el comercio electrónico en este tipo de negocios. Se estableció directrices metodológicas de tipo descriptivo con un enfoque cualitativo tomando como población a las personas económicamente activa del cantón Babahoyo, utilizando técnicas e instrumentos pertinentes para llegar los resultados que deriven a inferir acerca de la situación de Sanfarmedi y así llegar a concluir con que si hay un nivel de incidencia elevado ya que Sanfarmedi no está teniendo el conocimiento necesario para la aplicación de esta herramienta de comercio electrónico lo cual indica una mala gestión en esta empresa.es_ES
