Burns are a type of tissue injury, the consequence of which is through a traumatic event, both physical and chemical, the aftermath of a burn could take for granted injuries that range from mild to severe, where they would be damaged the tissues, and not only that, but the larger the affected sector, the much more risk the life of the subject runs. At present, the conceptualization of health has achieved monumental advances, establishing itself as essential for the objectives and means of universal development, and this was due to teaching mechanisms, which is characterized by being one of the most important artifacts to be able to carry out quality care, thus granting nursing experts the ideal instruments to improve and give their capacities, both cognitive and physical, in order to allow the development of successful models in the future care. The theories of care and self-care seek constant optimization for health services as well as for the personal reasoning of patients, so that in this way the scientific reasoning that is made is transplanted into innovative actions that are likely to be exercised in daily tasks. Through this investigation work, it is intended to offer sufficient information through scientific sources, such as the Ministry of Public Health, high-effect magazines, scientific articles, the World Health Organization and web documentation.es_ES
