| dc.description | The theme of Covid-19 was chosen in relation to the tourist and economic impact of Quevedo with the aim of analyzing both the positive and negative effects on the country's economy and at the local level. As is public knowledge, the health emergency brought with it alternatives to avoid contagion, such as: social distancing, the permanent use of the mask and, in turn, confinement in between 3 and 6 months, this affecting casualties decreasing in all sectors that contribute to the economy, being its tourism, were sufficient because some recreational spaces remained closed to the public. The methodology applied is of the type, Analytical - Synthetic, Historical - Comparative, Qualitative - Quantitative and, Bibliographic, applying a survey of the population of the Canton Quevedo for data collection, demonstrating that tourism in the canton has always been deficient (59.70 % of those surveyed), due to the lack of support from the Municipal Government and the high crime rate, which substantially affects tourists and businesses in general. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Se eligió el tema del Covid-19 en relación al impacto turístico y económico de Quevedo con el objetivo de analizar los efectos tanto positivos y negativos en la economía del país y a nivel local. Como es de conocimiento público, la emergencia sanitaria trajo consigo alternativas para evitar el contagio como lo fueron: el distanciamiento social, el uso permanente de la mascarilla y a su vez el confinamiento en duró entre 3 y 6 meses, esto incidiendo bajas en todos los sectores que aportan a la economía siendo el turístico una de ella, esencialmente por que algunos espacios recreativos se mantuvieron cerradas al público. La metodología aplicada es de tipo, Analítico – Sintético, Histórico – Comparativo, Cualitativa - Cuantitativa y, Bibliográfica aplicando para la recolección de datos una encuesta a la población del Cantón Quevedo, demostrando que el turismo en el cantón siempre ha deficiente (59,70% de los encuestados), debido a la falta de apoyo del Gobierno Municipal y al alto índice delincuencial, lo que afecta sustancialmente a los turista y negocios en general. | es_ES |
