| dc.description | Agrotourism is considered a very significant contribution to the economy of the agrarian sectors, obtaining in its area, valuing the cultural elements that highlight it, being that its lifestyle, manner and work tools, whether they are conservative or from the past, among other points of view are these of a social and environmental nature that can be achieved. In this environment, most countries are taking the initiative to increase their development in a sustainable manner, mainly in Latin America, where most of their territories have an agricultural trend, such as Argentina, Peru or Panama. On the other hand, in Ecuador there is little knowledge of places dedicated to agrotourism, with purely agricultural provinces, for this reason, the present study aims to take advantage of traditional crops to strengthen Agrotourism in the La Unión parish, Babahoyo canton. Currently in the country traditional agriculture is still practiced, its crops are short and long cycles, in this way, those of banana and cocoa stand out. It is vitally important to encourage people in the sector to commit to risk it for agrotourism. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El agroturismo es considerado como un aporte muy significativo en la economía de los sectores agrarias, obteniendo en su área, valuar los elementos culturales que la resaltan, siendo aquella su estilo de vida, manera y herramientas de trabajo, sean estos conservadores o del pasado, entre otros puntos de vistas sean estos de carácter social y ambiental que se pueden conseguir. En este entorno, la mayoría de países están tomando la iniciativa para aumentar su desarrollo de manera sustentable, principalmente en América Latina, donde, la mayor parte de sus territorios tienen tendencia agrícola, de tal modo como es Argentina, Perú o Panamá. Por otro lado, en Ecuador se tiene poco conocimiento de lugares dedicados al agroturismo, contando con provincias netamente agrícolas, por esta razón, el presente estudio tiene tuvo como objetivo aprovechar los cultivos tradicionales para el Agroturismo en la parroquia La Unión cantón Babahoyo. Actualmente en el país se sigue practicando la agricultura tradicional, sus cultivos son de ciclos corto y largo, de esta manera, resaltan los de banano y cacao. Es de vital importancia incentivar a las personas del sector a comprometerse para jugársela por el agroturismo. | es_ES |
