dc.descriptionIn this era of constant technological advances, the development of web applications is increasingly in demand, this is due to the increase in online activities, including the electronic commerce companies, which is why professional developers are currently a very important factor in organizations. However, not all companies have the budget to hire professionals or have the services of companies dedicated to the development of web applications. For this reason, Low-code and No-code development technologies are receiving a lot of attention these days from companies according to Google Trends and Gartner. INC. For this reason, this case study aimed to analyze and compare Low-code platforms such as OutSystems and No-code platforms such as GlideApp as web application development alternatives, both for managers and professional developers. It was concluded that Low-code platforms such as OutSystems are very helpful and have become the preference of development professionals in the realization of not so complex web applications. On the other hand, No-code platforms such as GlideApp are helpful for managers who do not have professionals or resources for web application development, offering the possibility of creating simple and limited web applications. It was also found that both platforms are still weak in terms of security compared to traditional methods, but they are constantly evolving, so that in a few years they will have a positive impact on the development of companies, improving their efficiency and also benefiting the user. dc.description.abstractEn esta era de constantes avances tecnológicos el desarrollo de aplicaciones web es cada vez más demandado, esto se debe al aumento de actividades en línea entre ellas el comercio electrónico de las empresas, por lo que actualmente los desarrolladores profesionales son un factor muy importante en las organizaciones. Sin embargo, no todas las empresas cuentan con el presupuesto para contratar profesionales o disponer de servicios de empresas dedicadas al desarrollo de aplicaciones web. Por este motivo las tecnologías de desarrollo Low-code y la No-code están teniendo mucha atención en estos tiempos por parte de las empresas según Google Trends y Gartner.inc. Por esta razón, el presente estudio de caso tuvo como objetivo analizar y comparar las plataformas Low-code como OutSystems y No-code como GlideApp como alternativas de desarrollo de aplicaciones web, tanto a gerentes como desarrolladores profesionales. Se concluyó que las plataformas Low-code como OutSystems son de mucha ayuda y se han convertido en la preferencia de los profesionales del desarrollo en la realización de aplicaciones web no tan complejas. Por otro lado, las plataformas No-code como GlideApp son de ayuda para gerentes que no dispongan de profesionales o recursos para el desarrollo de aplicaciones web, ofreciendo la posibilidad de crear aplicaciones web sencillas y limitadas. También se obtuvo que ambas plataformas siguen siendo débiles en cuanto a la seguridad en comparación a los métodos tradicionales pero siguen en constante evolución, por lo que en pocos años tendrán un impacto positivo en el desarrollo de las empresas, mejorando su eficiencia y beneficiando también al campo laboral de los desarrolladores web, combatiendo la alta demanda de las mismas.es_ES
