| dc.description | The present case study was carried out in the Fire Department of the Canton Ventanas, the development is oriented to the management of the SIG-AME accounting system with the objective of determining how the lack of knowledge on the part of the accountant in the management of this system affects the information performance. As these shortcomings exist, the accounting information that is required is not presented on time and, on the other hand, the system tends to fail at times, so if that were the case, the accountant would not know how to react to that situation and the information in which there is been working could be lost. The public accountant of the company is an analyst and user at the same time, he is in charge of the financial information in the organization, regarding the management of the SIG-AME system, the best solution is to be trained and guided to make a decision according to the needs of the system. With the help of training, the accountant will be able to be oriented to make decisions according to the needs of the system, meaning a better performance in the execution of the operations that are carried out within the system. It is important to emphasize that technology makes available a system to carry out operations in a simpler and much faster way, it can be very feasible for the company since it saves time and money, but to take full advantage of this system, it should be considered. the training of the same to be clear about all the functions of the system to handle it correctly. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso se llevó a cabo en el Cuerpo de Bomberos del Cantón Ventanas, el desarrollo está orientado al manejo del sistema contable SIG-AME con el objetivo de determinar como el desconocimiento por parte del contador en el manejo de este sistema afecta el desempeño de la información. Al existir estas falencias la información contable que se requiera no es presentada a tiempo y por otro lado el sistema tiende a fallar en ocasiones por lo que si dado el caso, el contador no sabría cómo reaccionar ante esa situación y la información en la que haya estado trabajando podría perderse. El contador público de la empresa es analista y usuario a la vez, está encargado de la información financiera en la organización, al respecto del manejo del sistema SIG-AME la mejor solución es estar capacitado y orientado para tomar una decisión acorde a las necesidades del sistema. Con la ayuda de la capacitación el contador podrá estar orientado para tomar decisiones acordes a las necesidades del sistema, significando un mejor rendimiento en la ejecución de las operaciones que se realizan dentro del sistema. Es importante recalcar que la tecnología pone a disposición un sistema para realizar las operaciones de una manera más sencilla y mucho más rápida, puede ser muy factible para la empresa ya que se ahorra tiempo y dinero, pero para aprovechar al máximo este sistema se debe considerar la capacitación del mismo para tener claro todas las funciones del sistema para manejarlo correctamente. | es_ES |
