| dc.description | Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a term that refers to a heterogeneous group of inflammatory diseases of unknown etiology that begin before the age of 16 years, whose common clinical word is arthritis and has the potential to cause long-term morbidity and physical disability, for this reason this clinical case study is performed with the purpose of applying the nursing care process in a 14-year-old patient diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, For this reason the objective of this case is to apply the nursing care process in the patient under study through the analysis of his clinical history with the intention of improving his stability and quality of life, it is important that parents go with their children to medical checkups in order to detect early this pathology which can cause serious complications such as growth disorders, joint damage and ocular inflammation, that is why it is necessary to follow up the disease in the long term which allows to assess the effectiveness of treatment. It is important to develop this type of work in order to know the frequency with which these cases occur and thus be able to impart knowledge and raise awareness in people about the complications of this pathology. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La artritis idiopática juvenil es un término que hace referencia a un grupo heterogéneo de enfermedades inflamatorias de etiología desconocida que comienzan antes de los 16 años, cuya palabra clínica común es la artritis y tiene el potencial de ocasionar morbilidad a largo plazo y discapacidad física, por tal motivo se realiza el presente estudio de caso clínico con el propósito de aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en un paciente de 14 años de edad con diagnosticado con artritis idiopática juvenil, por tal motivo el objetivo de este caso es aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en el paciente objeto de estudio a través de análisis de su historial clínico con la intención de mejorar su estabilidad y calidad de vida, es importante que los padres acudan con sus niños a los controles médicos para así poder detectar a tiempo esta patología la cual puede causar complicaciones graves tales como trastornos del crecimiento, daño articular e inflamación ocular, es por eso que es necesario realizar un seguimiento de la enfermedad en largo plazo la cual permita valor la efectividad del tratamiento. Es importante desarrollar este tipo de trabajos para así poder conocer la frecuencia con la que se presentan estos casos y de esta manera poder impartir conocimientos y concientizar en las personas sobre las complicaciones que conlleva esta patología. | es_ES |
