| dc.description | The use of ozone has been used for many years, applied in the First World War by Dr. Albert Wolf who cleaned the wounds of soldiers. The healing of post-surgical wounds is one of the problems of the daily clinic due to its recovery and the time it takes to heal can affect the quality of life of the pet. Ozone therapy makes the erythrocytes increase their elasticity, it also generates the release of oxygen to the tissue, causing the healing to be faster and more efficient due to the growth of platelets. There are different forms of application among the most used are topical, infiltrative and systemic. This document was made with the purpose of recognizing the importance of the use of ozone therapy through the different techniques of use in canine and feline wounds. In the case of subdermal treatment, two things should be considered in cases of red coloration: the dose of infiltrated ozone influenced this condition and dogs that had Ehrlichiosis. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El uso de ozono es utilizado desde hace muchos años, aplicado en la primera guerra mundial por el Dr. Albert Wolf quien limpio las heridas de los soldados. La cicatrización de heridas post quirúrgicas es uno de los problemas de la clínica diaria, la recuperación y el tiempo de cicatrizarse inadecuado puede afectar la calidad de vida de la mascota. La ozonoterapia hace que los eritrocitos incrementen su elasticidad también genera la liberación del oxígeno al tejido ocasionando que por el crecimiento de las plaquetas la cicatrización sea más rápida y con eficacia. Existen diferentes formas de aplicación entre las más usadas son la tópica, infiltrativa y sistémica. Este documento se realizó con la finalidad de reconocer la importancia del uso de ozonoterapia mediante las diferentes técnicas de utilización en heridas de caninos y felinos. En el caso del tratamiento subdérmico se debe considerar dos cosas; en los casos de coloración roja que, la dosis del ozono infiltrado influyó en esta condición y perros que tenían Ehrlichiosis. | es_ES |
