| dc.description | This document details the analysis in the management of cultural tasks in the cultivation of sugar cane. Sugar cane is a very important crop because it is considered the raw material for the sugar industry, considering it an indispensable crop, especially within the Ecuadorian coast. According to the conclusions, it was determined that the country has been an exporter of this product for many years, but due to cultivation costs, excess production worldwide, the decrease in prices due to competition and internal demand, it has forced Ecuador , stop being an exporting country of this product and become in many cases an importer of the product in order to meet domestic demand; According to the analysis carried out, it is essential to point out that sugar cane needs care to respond with good harvests. Even more, if the operational yields are low, it is necessary to seek the appropriate agronomic management according to the type of soil and the distribution of the seed in the furrow is very important, avoiding placing one stem on top of the other. The ideal is to place it separately, in a wider furrow base, separating them about 8 to 10 cm. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente documento se detalla el análisis en el manejo de las labores culturales en el cultivo de caña de azúcar. La caña de azúcar es un cultivo de mucha importancia por considerarse la materia prima de la industria azucarera, considerándose como un cultivo indispensable especialmente dentro de la costa ecuatoriana. De acuerdo a las conclusiones se determinó que el país ha sido por muchos años exportador de éste producto, pero debido a costos de cultivo, exceso de producción a nivel mundial, la disminución de precios por la competencia y la demanda interna, ha obligado al Ecuador, dejar de ser un país exportador de éste producto y convertirse en muchos casos en importador del producto para poder atender la demanda interna; de acuerdo al análisis realizado, es indispensable señalar que la caña de azúcar necesita de cuidados para responder con buenas zafras. Aún más, si los rendimientos operacionales son bajos, es necesario buscar el manejo agronómico adecuado de acuerdo al tipo de suelo y la distribución de la semilla en el surco es muy importante, evitando colocar un tallo sobre el otro. Lo ideal es colocarlo separadamente, en una base de surco más ancha, separándolos alrededor de 8 a 10 cm. | es_ES |
