dc.description.abstractEl Ecuador es un país lleno de ecosistemas ricos y de biodiversidad, por lo que es muy recomendable y optimo impulsar, nuevas metodologías urbanas y sustentables para las personas que residen en las ciudades, con el fin de formar una soberanía alimentaria, que de equilibrio en la alimentación y nutrición de familias con bajos recursos en estas zonas y así mismo beneficiarse económicamente de estas actividades. El documento elaborado hace mención a alternativas constructivas para la implementación de huertos orgánicos en viviendas ubicadas en las zonas urbanas, recalcando la importancia de los huertos orgánicos como medio de sustentación independiente por parte de las comunidades, sus beneficios de gran medida en el crecimiento de la agricultura urbana, dentro de las ciudades y por ende un aporte positivo a la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente, con la elaboración de estos huertos. Las conclusiones describen que la implementación de huertos orgánicos dentro de las zonas urbanas, contribuye a la alimentación propia de estas zonas, y aquellas con problemas económicos, impulsando la producción de alimentos orgánicos y de alta calidad nutritiva, creando un sistema sustentable para las familias de estas zonas urbanas, contribuyendo en su crecimiento, que el uso y desarrollo de huertos orgánicos compartidos aporta mucho a lo cultural y social, ya que a más de fomentar una educación ambiental adecuada, también ayuda a crear relaciones entre las personas involucradas en estos huertos, la transmisión de información ayuda a la generación de ideas nuevas, las cuales pueden desarrollar nuevas técnicas y descubrimientos ingeniosos por parte de las comunidades.es_ES
