dc.descriptionThe analysis of internal factors is a fundamental requirement for companies, since it supports organizational management, ensuring that processes are carried out in a transparent and safe manner. In addition, it is important because through this analysis both the strengths and weaknesses of the company are established in order to take corrective actions in case there are problems that may affect its activities; that is, it contributes to determine more efficient and effective work methodologies. The objective of this case study was to conduct an evaluation analysis of internal factors in the Distribution Area of the Corporación Nacional de Electricidad EP - Los Ríos, with the intention of identifying the main weaknesses of the institution in the aforementioned unit. The methodology implemented was a non-experimental design with a qualitative approach, supported by the empirical method, since only the interview technique was used for data collection. A field research was also carried out, where an interview guide was used, directed to the collaborators who manage the Distribution Area. The results of the study showed that one of the main drawbacks of public sector institutions is the weak administrative capacity of their managers. The research concluded that the institution does not develop evaluation processes of internal factors; therefore, it is impossible to know the main weaknesses it has, in order to establish continuous improvement strategies that promote organizational development and strengthen the corporate image.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl análisis de los factores internos se constituye en un requisito fundamental que deben realizar las empresas; puesto que sirve de apoyo a la gestión organizacional, asegurando que los procesos se desarrollen de forma transparente y segura. Además, es importante porque por medio de este análisis se establecen tanto las fortalezas y debilidades de la empresa para tomar acciones correctivas en caso de existir problemas que puedan afectar sus actividades; es decir, contribuye a determinar metodologías de trabajo más eficientes y efectivas. El objetivo del presente estudio de caso consistió en realizar un análisis de evaluación de factores internos en el Área de Distribución de la Corporación Nacional de Electricidad EP – Los Ríos, con la intención de identificar las principales debilidades que posee la institución en la dependencia mencionada. La metodología implementada fue un diseño no experimental con enfoque cualitativo, apoyado en el método empírico, debido a que solo se utiliza la técnica entrevista para la recolección de datos. También se realizó una investigación de campo, donde se empleó una guía de entrevista dirigida a los colaboradores que administran el Área de Distribución. Los resultados del estudio permitieron conocer que uno de los principales inconvenientes que se presentan en las instituciones del sector público, es la débil capacidad administrativa de sus gestores. La investigación concluyó que la institución no desarrolla procesos de evaluación de factores internos; por lo tanto, se imposibilita conocer las principales debilidades que posee, para así establecer estrategias de mejora continua que propicien el desarrollo organizacional y fortalezcan la imagen corporativa.es_ES
