dc.descriptionVoice assistants, also known as natural user interfaces, are software agents that can interpret human speech and respond through synthesized voices. A natural user interface is a system for human-computer interaction that the user operates through intuitive "invisible" actions. The goal of these interfaces is to hide the complexity of the system even if the user is experienced or the interactions are complex. Natural user interfaces are becoming popular. This case study presents the results of an analysis of two smart personal assistants, Siri and Cortana, on the following dimensions: the accuracy of their responses, how natural the responses feel to users, compatibility, and security. It is essential to focus on compatibility with devices and with streaming platforms and services. It is of little use to opt for the Apple system and its sound quality, if we do not use Apple Music or if we want to control the television and we do not have Apple TV. Cortana is ahead by having a broader and more nourished ecosystem than Siri. On the other hand, Apple offers a more closed, solid and secure ecosystem, because everything is certified and approved by the company.es_ES

Una interfaz de usuario natural es un sistema para la interacción persona-computadora que el usuario opera a través de acciones intuitivas "invisibles". El objetivo de estas interfaces es ocultar la complejidad del sistema incluso si el usuario tiene experiencia o las interacciones son complejas. Las interfaces de usuario naturales se están volviendo populares. Este caso de estudio presenta los resultados de un análisis de dos asistentes personales inteligentes, Siri y Cortana, en las siguientes dimensiones: la exactitud de sus respuestas, qué tan naturales se sienten las respuestas para los usuarios, la compatibilidad y la seguridad. resulta fundamental centrarnos en la compatibilidad con los dispositivos y con las plataformas y servicios de streaming.
