| dc.description | The case study carried out was about the relevance of a web application for the control of patients and appointment scheduling in the Ordental dental center of the city of Windows, to know how the creation of a web application would help, being necessary to carry out an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses and their feasibility of being implemented. The dental center is dedicated to protecting and preventing patients from oral problems, they are in charge of carrying dental records that include the patient's odontogram, due to this the importance of a web application is highlighted. When reserving medical appointments, we refer to the action of setting aside a place for care on a certain day and time; Today this is done more and more efficiently thanks to the advancement of technology and its inclusion in health systems, they improve the processes of care and quality of services, at the same time this makes the traditional way of having shifts in health centers have modifications. To obtain reliable and representative results, all the necessary aspects for the development of the case study were analyzed, according to the data obtained, the research is descriptive and field, since it is oriented to collect relevant, realistic and reliable information related to the status of reservations for consultations at the dental center, which made it possible to establish the status of this reservation and relate it to the quality of care. The instruments used for this case study consist of an interview with the dentist who owns the same, followed by a survey carried out with people who frequently visit the center and other future patients to find out their opinion regarding the case presented. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El estudio de caso realizado se trató de la pertinencia de una aplicación web para el control de pacientes y agendamiento de citas en el centro odontológico Ordental de la ciudad de ventanas, para saber cómo ayudaría la creación de una aplicación web, siendo preciso realizar un análisis de las fortalezas, debilidades y su factibilidad de ser implementada. El centro odontológico se dedica a proteger y prevenir a los pacientes de los problemas bucales, se encargan de llevar fichas odontológicas que incluye la odontograma del paciente, debido a esto se realza la importancia de una aplicación web. Al realizar la reservación de citas médicas nos referimos a la acción de apartar un lugar para una atención en un determinado día y horario; hoy en día esto se hace cada vez de forma más eficiente gracias al avance de la tecnología y su inclusión en los sistemas de salud, mejoran los procesos de atención y calidad de servicios, al mismo tiempo esto hace que la forma tradicional de tener turnos en los centros de salud tenga modificaciones. Para obtener resultados confiables y representativos se analizaron todos los aspectos necesarios para el desarrollo del estudio de caso, de acuerdo a los datos obtenidos la investigación es de tipo descriptiva y de campo, ya que la misma se orienta a recolectar información pertinente, realista y confiable relacionada con el estado de las reservaciones de consultas en el centro Odontológico, lo cual permitió establecer el estado de esta reservación y relacionarlo con la calidad de atención. Los instrumentos utilizados para este estudio de caso consisten en una entrevista al odontólogo propietario del mismo, seguido de una encuesta desarrollada a personas que con frecuencia visitan el centro y a otros futuros pacientes para saber su opinión con respecto al caso expuesto | es_ES |
