| dc.description | Information has been considered one of the most valuable assets for companies. The costs induced by information insecurity are not only direct economic costs, but also affect the company's image. Information security is one of the objectives of an organization, despite this generalized awareness, which does not support many entities with the depth with which they should be treated in this aspect. This document shows a risk analysis of information security of the company "Cerámica y Ferretería Ángel Tapia". Different tools will be used to know the environment of the company and which are the problems presented in the cashier and management departments regarding the loss of information. This was done in order to evaluate the risks of the assets of the company's departments which are: Management, cashier and the process of identification and valuation of hardware and software assets to determine the resources available to the establishment will be carried out. Thanks to the results obtained from the use of analysis tools such as the asset identification table, the asset valuation table and the risk identification table for hardware and software assets, it was possible to identify the respective vulnerabilities such as: configuration errors, lack of maintenance, damage due to overheating or disconnections. And in turn provide optimal solutions such as suggesting security policies and proper maintenance to the hardware and software assets that make up the IT infrastructure, in order to provide an effective solution to prevent the loss of information of the establishment, which can be said that the realization of this case study positively influenced the company "Cerámica y Ferretería Ángel Tapia". | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La información se ha considerado uno de los activos más valiosos para las empresas. Los costos inducidos por la inseguridad de la información no son solo costos económicos directos, sino que también afectan la imagen de la empresa. La seguridad de la información es uno de los objetivos de una organización, a pesar de esta conciencia generalizada, que no respalda a muchas entidades con la profundidad con la que deben tratarse en este aspecto. El presente documento muestra un análisis de riesgos de seguridad de la informacion de la empresa "Cerámica y Ferretería Ángel Tapia" se utilizarán diferentes herramientas las cuales servirán para conocer el entorno de la empresa y cuáles son los problemas presentados en los departamentos de caja y gerencia referentes a la perdida de informacion. Esto se realizó el fin de evaluar los riesgos de los activos del departamentos de la empresa los cuales son: Gerencia, cajero y se realizara el proceso de identificación y valoración de los activos de hardware y software para determinar los recursos con los que cuentan el establecimiento. Gracias a los resultados obtenidos del uso de las herramientas de análisis como la tabla de identificación de activos, la tabla de valoración de activo y la tabla de identificación del riesgo que presentan los activos de hardware y software en donde se pudo evidenciar las respectivas vulnerabilidades como: errores de configuración, falta de mantenimiento, daño por calentamientos o desconexiones. Y a su vez brindar soluciones optimas como sugerir políticas de seguridad y los debidos mantenimientos a los activos de hardware y software que conforman la infraestructura informática, con el fin brindar una solución eficaz para evitar la pérdida de informacion del establecimiento, lo cual se puede decir que la realización de este caso de estudio influyo positivamente en la empresa "Cerámica y Ferretería Ángel Tapia” | es_ES |
