This case is about a 29-year-old woman who had an dystocic delivery, with complications and tears. The first thing that is carried out is a thorough assessment of the patient, taking as a guide the functional patterns of MARJORY GORDON, through this it was possible to determine the various patterns that were altered, and through these results to be able to execute a correct nursing care process and thus execute it effectively and efficiently to achieve the recovery of the patient during her hospital stay. Obstetric trauma is the main cause of perineal and muscular injuries with variable repercussions on fecal continence. The main objective of the present clinical case is to apply the nursing care process in patients who have a perineal tear during labor.es_ES
