| dc.description | The present clinical case addresses the problem of the progression of myopia in children aged 14 years by which the visual health sector is increasingly interested in the impact of myopia on vision at early ages and as well as its incidence increases in the population.the Studies estimate that at ages after 14 years of age people around the world will suffer from myopia, while if time-monitored disease will allow vision reduction at an early age and thus lead to good eye health. This clinical case has as general objective is determine the early detection of myopia, identifying methods to control the pathology, determining that the patient has a high degree of myopia in both eyes and can be determined that the development of visual pathologies such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment and myopic maculopathy may also be involved. For this reason it is of vital importance to try to stop its progress and achieve eye health and reduce the least possible degree of myopi. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico aborda la problemática del avance de la miopía en niños de 14 años de edad por la cual el sector de la salud visual está cada vez más interesado en el impacto que tiene la miopía en la visión en edades tempranas y así́ como su incidencia aumenta en la población. Los estudios estiman que en en edades posteriores a los 14 años de edad las personas en todo el mundo sufrirán de miopía, mientras que si se da un seguimiento tiempo a esta patología permitirá una reducción de visión a tempranas edades y así conlleven una buena salud ocular. Este caso clínico tiene por objetivo general es lograr la detección temprana de la miopía, identificando los métodos para controlar la patología, determinando que el paciente presenta un alto grado de miopía en ambos ojos y se puede determinar que el desarrollo de patologías visuales como las cataratas, el glaucoma, el desprendimiento de retina y la maculopatia miópica pueden también estar involucradas. Por este motivo es de vital importancia intentar frenar su avance y alcanzar la salud ocular y reducir el menor grado posible de miopía. | es_ES |
