When carrying out the assessment of the nursing care process (ECP) in a patient with ocular myiasis, a clinical analysis was carried out by Marjory Gordon's functional patterns, in addition to a cephalo-caudal and systems assessment, taking into account the general objective of By using the nursing care process (PAE), an alteration of various functional patterns is evidenced, proceeding to elaborate the nursing diagnoses and nursing activities according to the needs of the patient. dc.description.abstractEl proceso de atención de enfermería se considera como un método lógico, racional, sistemático y organizado, permite administrar cuidados de manera individualizada enfocándose en la identificación de las necesidades del mismo. El presente caso clínico trata sobre un paciente de 86 años con miasis ocular, que asiste al centro de atención medica ingresando por el área de emergencia acompañado de un vecino, presentando dolor, enrojecimiento, edema y sensación de movimiento dentro de la cavidad orbitaria, paciente refiere no haberse percatado de ninguna picadura, expresa que no cumplir con adecuada higiene, además cerca de él habitan animales callejeros, al ingreso del paciente el medico lo valora, en la valoración física se evidencia presencia de lesión al nivel de cavidad orbitaria derecha, existencia de larvas, se requiere realizar de exámenes de laboratorio y valoración por parte del personal de enfermería. Al realizar la valoración del proceso de atención de enfermería (PAE) en paciente con miasis ocular, se llevó a cabo un análisis clínico por patrones funcionales de Marjory Gordon, además de una valoración céfalo-caudal y por sistemas teniendo en cuenta el objetivo general de la emplear el proceso de atención de enfermería (PAE), se evidencia una alteración de diversos patrones funcionales procediendo a elaborar los diagnósticos enfermeros y actividades de enfermería de acuerdo a las necesidades del paciente. Se realiza el seguimiento en el cual se evidencia el cumplimiento de las intervenciones de enfermería.es_ES
