| dc.description | Kidney cancer is also known as renal cell carcinoma (RCC). This begins when kidney cells grow uncontrollably and outnumber normal cells. This makes it difficult for the body to function properly. Cancer cells can spread to other parts of thebody, especially inthelung. They can also reach and grow in the bones. This spread of cancer cells is called metastasis, at a new site will be the same kidney cancer cells. This pathology is more common in men than in women, some risk factors that are included are smoking, obesity, hypertension and family history. Este caso clínico, se refiere a un paciente adulto de 57 años de edad, con diagnóstico de cáncer de riñón izquierdo, al momento consiente orientado, afebril, facies pálidas con signos vitales dentro de los valores normales, P/A: 135/78 mmHg, FC: 95 x1, FR: 20 x1, Tº: 36,8 ºC, SpO2: 93%, abdomen disentido doloroso a la palpación con presencia de masa palpable, paciente manifiesta ser fumador moderado, es decir que fuma entre 10 a 15 cigarrillos diarios. Los posible signos y síntomas de cáncer de riñón son hematuria, fatiga, pérdida de peso, fiebre, plétora. El hábito del tabaquismo es responsable de un alto porcentaje de casos de cáncer de riñón, dejar de fumar, llegaría disminuir su riesgo de padecer de esta enfermedad. | es_ES |
