| dc.description | Covid 19 is the disease with the highest mortality rate in the world affecting living beings such as animals, evidenced by an alteration of respiratory syndrome leading to pneumonia. The objective of this clinical study was to apply the nursing care process in a patient diagnosed with pneumonia as a consequence of COVID-19 who was hospitalized for presenting the symptoms that characterize this disease. This topic is important for the nursing professional so they are the main caregivers of the patient, with the proper biosafety measures, the activities that were taught based on the nurse's diagnosis were carried out, a care plan was created that allowed to improve the comfort of the patient during his hospital stay. I can conclude that the nursing process that encompasses the clinical history, the nursing assessment by functional patterns, the results of the same and the interventions are fundamental in the application of the patient's clinical picture, allowing recovery or improvement in it. Through this we cover the mental health of the patient, providing emotional support so that the health personnel is the only connection they have during the execution of the treatment, that is, nursing is responsible for the patient's environment. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El Covid-19 es la enfermedad con más altos índices de mortalidad en todo el mundo afectando a los seres vivos como animales, evidenciado por una alteración de síndrome respiratorio llegando a una neumonía. El objetivo de este estudio clínico fue aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en un paciente diagnosticado con neumonía como consecuencia del COVID-19 que estuvo hospitalizado por presentar la sintomatología que caracteriza esta enfermedad. Este tema es importante para el profesional enfermero por lo que son los principales cuidadores del paciente, con las debidas medidas de bioseguridad, se realizaron las actividades que se impartieron a base del diagnóstico enfermero, se creó un plan de cuidado que permitió mejorar el confort del paciente durante su ingreso hospitalario. Puedo concluir que el proceso enfermero que engloba el historial clínico, la valoración enfermero por patrones funcionales, el resultado de las mismas y las intervenciones son fundamentales en la aplicación del cuadro clínico del paciente permitiendo la recuperación o mejoría en el mismo. Por medio de este abarcamos la salud mental del paciente bridando el apoyo emocional por lo que el personal de salud es la única conexión que tiene durante la ejecución del tratamiento, es decir enfermería es el responsable del entorno del paciente. | es_ES |
