Burns are injuries to the skin or any layer of the skin that has been exposed to heat, radiation, electricity, among other mechanisms that can damage the skin, among the main ones we have those that are caused by heat, either by liquids. that have been exposed to high temperatures, flames, and hot solids. Burns are classified according to the degree of skin involvement, first degree only cause damage to the epidermis, second degree cause damage to the dermis, burns that cause damage to the three layers of the skin are found in the stage three and finally the fourth degree are those that have come to affect the muscles and bone. Currently the most affected by any type of burns are women, as they are the ones who most frequently carry out household activities, a clear example of which they spend a large part in the kitchen and are exposed to hot liquids, fire and chemical agents. In the present clinical case study, nursing activities were applied to a young adult with II degree burns caused by an electrocution, his evolution was as expected thanks to the timely care provided by the medical and nursing team.es_ES
