dc.descriptionThe present clinical case concerns a 40.6-week pregnant woman with epilepsy who attends the emergency service of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital accompanied by her mother at 9:00 p.m. on Febrary 16, 2021 for presenting a full-term pregnancy due to FUM plus work of childbirth and history of epilepsy. It is worth mentioning that the patient was referred to the Echeandia Health Center for presenting a seizure for 1 occasion plus labor, where he was administered as paracetamol 10mg plus intravenous hydration. The objective of the case is to apply the nursing care process in epileptic pregnant women that contributes to improving their current health status through the study of clinical history in order to improve their condition. The applied methodology consisted of physical and complementary examinations; In addition, altered functional patterns such as sleep-rest and cognitive were identified. The implemented treatment is composed of: NPO for 4 hours, Mom Score every 15 minutes, AFU control and bleeding every 15 minutes, 0.9% saline solution 1000 ml plus 10 IU of oxytocin pass IV at 120 ml / hr, celtriaxone 1gr IV every 12 hours, removal of urinary catheter, soft diet, among others. During the controls, the patient presented hemodynamic alteration, risk of falls, mild pain at the uterine level without the presence of clots, a patent bladder catheter, a covered, clean and dry surgical wound. The interventions carried out were satisfactory during the patient's admission, improving his health condition.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso clínico trata de una gestante de 40.6 semanas con epilepsia que acude al servicio de emergencia del Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro acompañada de su madre a las 21:00 horas el 16 de febrero del 2021 por presentar embarazo a término por FUM mas labor de parto y antecedentes de epilepsia. Cabe mencionar que la paciente fue referida del Centro de Salud Echeandia por presentar crisis convulsiva por 1 ocasión más labor de parto, donde se le administró medicamentos como paracetamol 10mg más hidratación intravenosa. El objetivo del caso es aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en gestante epiléptica que contribuya a mejorar su estado de salud actual mediante el estudio de historial clínico con el fin de mejorar su condición. La metodología aplicada constó de exámenes físicos y complementarios; además se identificó los patrones funcionales alterados como sueño-descanso y el cognitivo. El tratamiento implementado estuvo compuesto por: NPO por 4 horas, Score mamá c/15 minutos, control de AFU y sangrado c/ 15 minutos, solución salina 0.9% 1000 ml más 10 Ul de oxitocina pasar IV a 120 ml/hr, celtriaxona 1gr IV c/12 horas, retiro de sonda vesical, dieta blanda, entre otros. Durante los controles la paciente presentó alteración hemodinámica, riesgo de caídas, dolor leve a la altura uterina sin presencia de coágulos, sonda vesical permeable, herida quirúrgica cubierta, limpia y seca. Las intervenciones efectuadas fueron satisfactorias durante el ingreso de la paciente mejorando su condición de salud.es_ES
