The treatment for dehydration is to reward the fluids lost by oral rehydration, it is the most economical and efficient treatment, helping to run fewer complications due to not being treated on time, this clinical case study provides real and updated information on a female patient 5-year-old with moderate dehydration, nursing activities were carried out to restore the child's health.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa deshidratación es una afección clínica que se da por la pérdida de gran cantidad de agua y electrolitos que son necesarios para un correcto funcionamiento del organismo, pues el déficit de volumen en el cuerpo afecta al funcionamiento de los órganos y sistemas debilitando por completo al ser humano, lo que impide realizar actividades, la deshidratación se origina principalmente por no consumir agua de forma adecuada y con frecuencia. La deshidratación en menores de 5 años se da a consecuencia de problemas gastrointestinales, que se caracterizan por diarrea en frecuencia y abundante cantidad, que en pocas horas llegan a comprometer la vida del individuo si no se actúa de forma inmediata. El tratamiento para la deshidratación, es recompensar los líquidos perdidos por rehidratación oral, es el tratamiento más económico y eficiente, ayudando a correr menos complicaciones por no ser tratado a tiempo, el presente estudio de caso clínico se brinda información real y actualizada de paciente femenino de 5 años de edad con deshidratación moderada, se ejecutaron actividades de enfermería para restablecer la salud del menor.es_ES
