El objetivo de este proyecto es promover a nivel nacional el potencial turístico que ofrece el Cantón Babahoyo y así incentivar a los turistas a visiten este hermoso Cantón perteneciente a la Provincia de Los Ríos, porque tiene muchos atractivos de naturaleza, cultura y gastronomía.
La principal idea es incentivar a las personas a adoptar un nuevo estilo de vida a través de actividades turísticas, ya que esto ayudará a mejorar la situación económica y social, se trae una imagen positiva del cantón como un destino turístico para aumentar más visitantes.
Aportará nuevas fuentes de ingresos a esta actividad, logrando así la expansión de más productos turísticos, al tiempo que se desarrollarán establecimientos que presten servicios turísticos de diferente calidad y sean personalizados, para satisfacer las necesidades y requerimientos de los visitantes.
Las técnicas utilizadas fueron entrevistas y encuestas. Las herramientas utilizadas fueron el cuestionario y las entrevista.
The objective of this project is to promote at a national level the tourism potential that the Babahoyo Canton offers and thus encourage tourists to visit this beautiful Canton belonging to the Province of Los Ríos, because it has many attractions of nature, culture and gastronomy.

En un mundo con una economía cada vez más competida y globalizada donde las macroempresas, entre ellas los grandes tour operadores, dominan la mayor parte de los mercados de bienes y servicios, es necesario impulsarla creación de otro tipo de emprendimientos incluyentes y sustentables que den cabida a todos los actores de las comunidades y de esta manera se distribuyan de forma más equitativa los beneficios de la actividad turística. Una ruta turística sigue un itinerario con varios sitios de interés turístico. El término circuito turístico se asocia más frecuentemente con un lazo, mientras que una ruta por lo general tiene diferentes puntos: inicial y final. Sin embargo, estos términos no se limitan exclusivamente a estas definiciones. En el Ecuador, el desarrollo de destinos turísticos en el contexto de la actualidad ha abarcado un espacio importante como una alternativa para contrarrestar la falta de fuentes de ingresos económicos y así mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes de un país, territorio y comunidad. Por otro lado, la creación de senderos y rutas en lugares turísticos ya descubiertos y en lugares aún no conocidos, el aprovechamiento turístico ha contribuido en gran parte a mejorar la situación económica de los habitantes de una determinada zona. El banano es una de las frutas naturales más antiguas del mundo y el Estado Ecuatoriano goza de condiciones climáticas excepcionales para el cultivo de este. La riqueza de su suelo ha permitido que, desde finales de los años 40, haya tenido y tenga un peso importante en el desarrollo del país, tanto desde el punto de vista económico como social.

El presente proyecto de investigación se ha realizado con el objetivo de establecer la incidencia del turismo comunitario en la identidad cultural de los habitantes del recinto El Recuerdo en el Humedal Internacional Abras de Mantequilla, con la intención de conocer la realidad turística actual y el nivel de conservación de los recursos culturales de la comunidad, por lo tanto se utilizó la metodología de campo para el desarrollo del proceso investigativo, obteniendo como conclusión que la mayoría de los habitantes del recinto El Recuerdo desconocen el turismo comunitario como alternativa para valorizar las costumbres, tradiciones, expresiones culturales y conocimientos ancestrales que se están debilitando y corren el riesgo de perderse con el transcurso del tiempo, a partir de ello se diseñó un plan de capacitación sobre turismo comunitario para el fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural de los habitantes del recinto El Recuerdo, en busca de minimizar la falta de conocimientos sobre esta modalidad de turismo a su vez está orientada para que los pobladores aprovechen racionalmente sus recursos culturales para atraer mayor demanda de visitantes, con la finalidad de formar la primera comunidad de la provincia de Los Ríos organizada y capacitada para obtener el certificado de Centro Turístico Comunitario.

Las siglas LGBTI son las que identifican a las palabras lesbiana, gay, bisexual y transgénero, además forma parte de la población que se ha conformado como un movimiento por la lucha de los derechos de igualdad para estas comunidades sexuales minoritarias. Este movimiento busca que se reconozcan e igualen los derechos de las personas que representan a dicho movimiento.
La no discriminación y el valorar los derechos de todos los seres humanos es la responsabilidad de la sociedad Quevedeña dando la oportunidad que sean respetados y valorados sus derechos en la lucha constante por la tolerancia y en contra de la discriminación y la violencia homofóbica.
Analizar la oferta turística de la ciudad nos permitió conocer que Quevedo es una ciudad que cuenta con recursos naturales, culturales y arquitectónicos que son algunas de las opciones que tiene todo tipo de turista y que los avances de las reformas parlamentarias ayudan a fomentar un Quevedo inclusivo y mediante la tabulación de datos se logró identificar que no se discrimina de manera directa este colectivo pero si existen ciertas distinciones.
La población LGBTI es más notoria en la ciudad de Quevedo y la elaboración de la guía de estrategias ayudará a fomentar la inclusión de la comunidad LGBTI en la oferta turística de la ciudad ayudando a evidenciar el desarrollo local.
